Visitors from around the world flocked to Dominica to celebrate world-class diving during the island's 22nd Annual Dive Fest held July 10-19. The Caribbean's longest running diving festival kicked off on the Nature Island promising fascinating diving experiences for both experienced and beginner divers. Dominica is rated as one of the top 10 dive locations in the world, with a variety of dive sites that feature dramatic walls and pinnacles, pristine reefs and Champagne snorkeling.

In addition to dive events, Dive Fest offers plenty of excitement for non-divers, including whale watching, treasure hunts, beach parties and canoe races.

During Dive Fest's Discover Scuba Diving events, children as young as 10 years can learn about diving. This year, Family Day participants enjoyed a variety of events, including turtle hatching at Rosalie Bay Resort. The fun continued with whale watching from the Anchorage Hotel and the Kids' Snorkel Treasure Hunt at Champagne Reef. The festivities culminated with the hotly contested Kubuli Canoe Races at Soufriere, followed by the Dive Fest Beach Party.

Plan to attend next year's Dive Fest, scheduled for July 8-17, 2016. Or, get inspired for your next Nature Island adventure by visiting www.discoverdominica.com!
